Deathbed

Flat on my back
Heart attack
Never saw it coming
A big smack
I hear a smile
Down a mile
Doom is looming
Hurt awhile
Pain intense
You were so tense
No flower blooming
There’s no sense
She kills
For thrills
The crow crooning
Reading your wills

You funny boy, you bring such joy; you find the sun and bring such fun and now I find you amused my mind and probably everyone. Great verse Russ, I enjoy your poetry. Luv Elizabeth
