Death To Fear

Fear, you once held me tight, A prisoner in shadows, trapped in the night. Your whispers were poison, seeping through my soul, Leaving me frozen, unable to feel whole. But I’ve risen, I’ve taken my stand, No longer held by your trembling hand. I faced your darkness, shone my own light, Exposed your lies, and reclaimed my sight. You once whispered, “You’re not enough,” But I silenced your voice with a love that's tough. I've embraced the unknown, welcomed the new, Found strength in all I’m able to do. So goodbye, fear! Your grip is now gone, I’m free to live, to laugh, to move on. I'll rise above, whatever you try, And shine so bright, in this life, I won't shy. No longer swayed by your shadowed sway, I'll live my life in a brighter way. Free from your chains, I’ll spread my wings high, And never again will I let my dreams die.
