Death Soil- -

I left the garden With matted up soiled fingers glowing N dark in the light Unbelievers but up a good struggle, good fight Grasping body entailed in nasty soil Been given many chances to change my mind Lived this hell once, now it's being burnt on the surface a dead soul Blood running warm down the streets Charcoal heated surface dust Sour fleshed dipping’s of mummified lust Just what is left? Nuclear holocaust-death soil- - save us all Lord for we all are just death soil... 12/17/19 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2019©

James, my Brother, As the last breath leaves the physical body, decomposition sets in immediately. We all will return to the dust from whence we came. But, Praise God, we who believe will have a glorified body, meet Jesus face-to-face and be with Him for eternity. So the tainted soil we create in life will become rich soil that will produce 'plants for the Kingdom' if we till it, water it, and pull the weeds the portals of Heaven will be filled with song. Amen! and Amen! A great poem!
