Death Scene

Pronounced dead, ready to burn
Wash in water all ashes gone
Left behind memories to ponder and cry
Or miss the person who stood by

Many a fight for the left behind
Leaving the soul that has travelled light
Nothing brought anything taken
Still the presence was well played

The script of the lord the ending too
We walk past life just living that through
The stage is set, the curtains go up
Never shed tears just clap on
The show was on and now it’s gone…..sunkan

Very positive and evotional write full of wisdom you have penned, sundari. I have written a poem on the Indian myth Kanhapatra that took place around Maharashtra. Let me know if you can add some information on the myth after reading.
