Death Revisited

I dreamed again of your demise,
Saw you laying there before my eyes;
I relived my grief and asked God,
Is there to be no relief from the memory
Of your pain...
Must it haunt me over and over again.

Richard, Thank you for your comment...So thoughtful of you. This is a VERY old poem actually and I really am laughing again. This poem was written when I was first widowed, long ago. At that time I wrote a thousand sad poems or "songs" as I call them. Cynthia

Cynthia, the expression of your anguish in this piece, rises off the page with your words. X Peace Ruby
