Death of Hope
America has lost hope
Americans cannot cope
America replaced a former President’s hope
With an American billionaire dope
America has lost the world globe
America has isolated and deported citizens with military on probe
America was once a Statue of Liberty with shining light strobe
But with a fool in the White House America is deplorable
America has lost a child’s hope
America has lost a child’s dream of playfulness rope-a-dope dope
America has lost its place and setting and its promise
America is the death of hope
