Death of a Brother

Death of a Brother Written: by Tom Wright March 2015 His sun slipped below the horizon, Leaving naught but an achromatic sky, As thoughts submerged in time before, Once abeyant, now dance; The voice of one since passed, Drums my ears like Sage Hens at sunset; While I press to remember cheerier times, Of days replete with laughter, My thoughts continue, draped in regret. Attention being ever focused, On where we were, not where he is.

Thank you Jan. my Brother was 23 year career soldier. a master Sgt in the army when he returned from his 3rd tour in Vietnam he left the house one evening and never returned. he had been missing for 30 years. we discovered his death the day after it happened during an online search. War is cruel, the things it does to people. Tom
