Death Laugh

It's here, sitting right beside, laughing away, in its own might. One won't know of it, as its twin 'Life' won't let one miss its presence at all. The twin offers a make belief world where loved ones are live and laugh, forever. It blesses with some people who warms up the heart, merriment and bliss fill the time, Followed by some clashes or mere drifting apart before some others entering the heart. We know they are there and will be forever, we believe it, but life plays its usual tricks. At moments when we're deeply driven by it, it wants to sleep, Calls upon its omnipresent kin. With a blink of an eye, the blessings taken back, all you deserved was this curse. Death laughing away in its own might. Trances and illusions fleeting away. Memories etched in the soul, waving goodbyes behind closed eyes. Which one was the illusion? Death or Life?
