Death It Is the Final Word

Death it is the final word
There is no coming back
Death a word unspoken
For folk don’t know just what to say
Some will think there's nothing else
Once we've gone we've gone
Though I would rather hope for more
But no one really knows for sure
Death it is so final
Death is it the end
Or does our spirit soar once more
When Death doth shut that final door
I will pray and hope to see
beside those pearly gates
all those special souls I knew
hands held out to lead me
        into Paradise
            to Shangri La
I see your smiles
It's where you are
A brand new life
With those I love
            ~~
Death it is a final word
A word that I have heard

Death indeed is a final word. When you lose someone close, then do you realize!

I think we all will be together again when the time comes for us to leave this world. A different phase of our being... Peaceful and trouble free with an acceptance of each other without judgement of differences etc... no more suffering... An equaliser... A touching poem. I am sure your husband and son know how much they are loved.
