Death Is Peace

Death brings peace to depressed souls
Like steam from a bowl
Soothing a stuffy nose
On a cold winter night
When ??re tired of a fight

Death brings clarity to confused minds
Like stars in a sky
Twinkling in an eye
Of those looking for a peace
In a world so mean

Death erases thoughts
Of a dream fought
Etched in a heart
Burning in desire
Wilted by life fire

Thanks John, interesting comment. Appreciate your insight into my poetry. Resting in peace beneath the earth as the life that caused our existence goes back to heaven from whence it came ending the pain and suffering consuming our very soul

Smile ~ Well, I do agree within a certain measure sadly for many during this era's phase of existence but only, if after their passing they are Heaven bound & then, well, no words could describe such beauty; not in a million years ~ Whereon the other hand, "No," the saddest day in this world will seem but as paradise compared to the neverending then...."Very Soulfully Profound Poe; 'Bluebright'" ~ "Love Always," John!:) ~
