Death In Sight

Death is in sight,
For the long days are few,
What have you taken for granite,
Is between us two,
The fog you stand behind,
It clouds your mirrored face,
An adolescent judgement call,
Becomes reality,
Only to slap you in the face,
In the pit of your stomach,
Fear that arose,
A cold sweat that happens,
Has grown from head to toe,
A decision you have made,
Rose up above all,
Death is upon you,
And so now you must fall..................
