Death In Love With Life

DEATH IN LOVE WITH LIFE

Life flows in entrancing river of beauty
The end it carries from the beginning
Through the valley of ecstasy sparkling
To the ordained waiting sea of tranquility.

The nascent petals blooming in flowers
The butterflies bathing in colors of sunset
Behind the transient beauty they discover
Looming dark cloud signals the birth of death.

The cloud with clasping hands descends
The touch of love from charming life it gets
Stops transfixed at the edge of the certain end
To bury beauty at destined depth, death forgets.

The love of the beautiful life death imbibes
The elixir it drinks brings it to the living world
In eternal bliss life would undyingly survive
When the death of death time would herald.
