Death Do Us Part

I felt all alone.
I couldn't get you out of my head.
So much has been taken from me.
Though nothing was ever the same.

All we did was fuss and fight.
Then you put out a knife.
There was blood all over the floor.
but these wounds are nothing more.

So here we are today.
Both in a sea of blood.
I've been beaten and bruised
but you have not survived.

As you lay still in your sleep.
I will be able to breath.
