Death

One more heartbeat in my chest, one more softened silent breath, closing eyes find rest welcoming death. If I can, the final sleep of unfilled dreams will slip away as planned; tossing and turning on starry lit beams. You need not cry, wipe the tears away we all are destined to die going toward it every day. Listen to its silence the rapture of the prayer embrace it with no defiance in a moment, heaven is there.
