Death

Death, We are fellow travelers on this earth, We are only here for this brief moment, Once the body decays, nothing remains, But an empty shell. We come empty handed, Depart empty handed. God has a plan for us, We only only have a certain number of breaths, that is allocated to us in our lifetime. We have a chance to greet the flowers, Talk to our spouses, If it’s a bad day, we can turn it into good for someone else. We can’t save all of humanity, But if we have a few spare coins in out pocket, We can make a difference, In someone else’s life. Unity and harmony goes together, One good turn deserves another, Our time in the hourglass, shows that the sands are running out. Let's made a difference to all that we love on this earth, As we are standing in the queue of life, Only to be called by God, Death will come to us all. For our dearly departed loved ones, we know at least, We did our very best. God Bless the whole of humanity.

I really appreciate the sand in the hourglass bit. It nudges action. Also "turn good for someone else". Reminds me of one of my favorite Abraham Lincoln quotes: "To ease another’s heartache is to forget one’s own". Well done.
