Death

Oh my sweet end!
Have you finally come for me?

I'll be under the oak swaying
Like leaves

You might catch me in a tub
Listening to a song that reminded me to end it all

Or at the ledge looking down
Pondering what will break my fall

Tired of pretending to be here
Tired of smiling, that's for the living

Tired of failing
Tired of giving

Oh my sweet end!
Soon you'll come for me

I sent you a memo
In the format of six feet deep
