Death

The man staring back at me
I knew what he’d done
He killed my friends
He killed my family
We had lost our battle

What would I do?
I knew what was coming,
That dark forsaken fate
That soon would surround me

For I was locked
In this mans chains
Of Cell 25
The day that my life changed

I’ve seen too much blood
How will I recover
I know what would come next
For I slowed his process

But he was on the bad side
I did what I had too,
We used to be friends
But then he changed

He wanted revenge
The vengeance was undefiable
The fate that is near
Is Death

I am thinking the man is cancer, but maybe that's just me? Very nicely written. Welcome to he Soup Family!

By the way, Cell 25, the 25th would be the day the main character died.
