Dear Tomorrow

I wrote a letter to tomorrow
asking if I could borrow, all the
confidence that I need today.

There was no reply, just a
lonely sigh and a vague
reflection of my future despair.

My lesson today was to laugh
and to play and not to care
what others think.

After all, tomorrow will call and
the inevitible is on the brink.
