Dear Santa
Dear Santa, I miss my mommy;
daddy says she's up in heaven.
And I wanted to write to you
and let you know I've turned seven.
Santa, I don't want any toy,
I want one of my mommy's hugs.
My daddy says I'm a good boy,
and I promise not to do drugs.
Please Santa if Rudolph guides you
can you fetch mommy with your sleigh?
For if you can do that for me
I'd be so grateful, Christmas day!
I know that my dad still loves me
because he hugs me real tight.
But Santa, I miss my mommy
tucking me into bed at night.
So Santa, please, please, please, ask God
if mommy can come back with you.
And I promise that I'll be good
and leave you milk and cookies too.
