Dear Santa
DEAR SANTA
I’m writing to you as a last resort;
Even though my friends say you don’t exist.
But I’ve seen you in films and in Macey’s store,
So you and I know they’ve got it all wrong.
My problem is that I write a lot;
Stories I make up and poems and such.
I use lots of paper and bottles of ink
And there’s so little room on this barrel I use.
So please, if you’ve time on Christmas Eve,
To visit me and have room on your sleigh,
I’d be very grateful if you were able
To bring for me a desk or a table.
P.S. And a toy for my dog.
