Dear Robin

Dear Robin, please leave
This is a tree of despair.
Do not seek to create a family there.
Its branches are that of sorrow adorned with leaves of tears.
Lurking near, is a cat ready to foil your loving ambitions,
and a housewife ready to lay claim to your abandoned turquoise treasures.
Surely there are far better places to begin your destiny of joy and legacy children,
not this wretched tree which seeks to adorn the neighboring coffee table
with trophies of fallen desires, as a symbol of young wild lovers left forlorn.

Ah, the metaphor, from oblique to outrageous captured herein....well done. Had to read it several times just to bathe in its duplicity.
