Dear Ray
Hey there big sky,
is that your beam
spooning warmth to my heart?
She's making shadows again
and it's all cozy inside.
I'd like to photograph this moment
with my eyes
so everything will be bright
then when night falls
I won't trip over it's many hands.
Only the blind stumble into lies,
but not me/you anymore
together we resemble truth
on a hot summer day.
Blackbirds don't seem to notice
our new philosophy at all,
nor do the trees sway back and forth
to windless melody,
but those squirrels staring mindlessly
at your golden figure
are planning to steal my nuts
Please compose them!
Yours truly,
Sombre
