Dear Parents

Dear parents I was once a voiceless and weak infant Though alive and healthy I couldn’t help myself with anything The sleepless night you had for I was crying makes me feel special in my heart for having you as my parents If one told me to repay you any wages I would have to look for the best mode to wage the wages as nothing is as as special as a parent love Any country has it’s security parameters trained not to protect but prosecute the wronged ones yet you my parents kept me safe from any harm in my life I have been to school, and though am not the smartest you never gave up on my education Though sometimes money was not available you did your best to provide everything for me Many can call you names and true enough we have our rough patches in life but no single day did you fail me in anyway Sometimes I remember my medical history yet you rushed from one person to another seeking help but some jeered at you my parents but God never left you without a helper My dear parents I wish to publish this now that you are alive for it’s better for me to say thank you for been my strongest pillars of my life than read it when you can hear or see the words I have written in your praise I may be not be the best but always remember me in your prayers and though am not upright in my ways do not curse my ways but just my anger However bless me in the name of God and always pray for the safety of my offspring for they need your blessings to I will share this with the world for they deserve to know my background My parents and anyone else who has helped me along the success path,I may be failure to many but to you nasema hongera and may God bless you always Chui munga the poet 4th March 2021
