Dear Mother
DEAR MOTHER
Proverbs 1 verse 8 tells me
‘My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake
not the law of thy mother’
For as long as I live I will remember
Remember how you taught me
I remember what you warned me
Remember the advice
But mostly the warm tenderly hug
Sometimes I would feel like hating you
Feel like you are you are in my way
How you do not understand what I am trying to do
How not so updated you are, whenever you refuse
But later on it changes
And then sometimes you will be like
So fierce towards me a fear
So harsh I can’t harden
You become roarous like a lion
How I wanted to run away,
But later on…
I would realize
You care for me so much
That you were also where I am you know the danger
And that I didn’t choose you, I am a gift to you
And that you were given to me by God
And you hear the voice from above
Every night when I sleep I will recall
The voice of my mother
Wishing me the best in life
Reminding me not to forget who I am
Blessing me
Every time I would feel the warmth of your heart
See the smile on your face
How proud you are to be my mother
Every time you would say I love you son
I love you mother
Good morning mum…
