Dear Momma

YOU'VE TAUGHT ME LESSONS WHEN I WAS A BOY,
TEACHING ME HOW TO BE A GOOD MAN,
AND WHEN I FELT I COULDN'T DO SOMETHING,
GIVING ME THE COURAGE TO SAY I CAN.

I MISS ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE HELD ME,
DEEP INSIDE YOUR WARM ARMS,
HOLDING ME SO CLOSE AND TIGHT,
AND PROTECTING ME FROM ALL MY HARMS.

I MISS ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE PLAYED WITH ME,
TEACHING ME GAMES I'VE NEVER KNOWN,
SHOWING ME HOW TO BE A KID,
AND HOW TO DO THINGS ON MY OWN.

I MISS ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE BEEN THERE FOR ME,
GUIDING ME ALONG THE RIGHT WAY,
ALWAYS PROTECTING ME WHEN I'M SCARED,
AND STADING BY MY SIDE ALL THE WAY.
