Dear Mom and Dad
Dear Mom and Dad,
Your daughter died long ago.
I’m just sorry that I denied it for so long.
I am a boy.
What is confusing you?
I am a boy.
I don’t want to lose you.
You say you accept me, but you really don’t.
Dear Mom and Dad,
I know you love me a lot
I love you too but, a girl; I am not
Can you not see that I am in pain?
I am definitely a boy in the brain.
Dear Mom and Dad,
I am a guy.
I know it hurts you to say good-bye
But if you can’t call me your son, I’ll ask you to leave.
All I want to do is relieve,
This pain in my heart.
Please I don’t want to tear this family apart.
