Dear Lord
Dear Lord, could you spare a second?
My siblings and I humbly beckon.
Could you bless us with a quick benediction?
I am sorry for your sacrifice and crucifixion.
I'm not asking you for my health or an easier way of life.
I'm not even asking that you end our global strife.
I don't need any money and I don't require any power.
I'm not even asking for forgiveness in life's dreadful hour.
I just want to say thank you!
Thank you for your love and all that you do.
I appreciate your kindness and this beautiful sky of blue.
I appreciate all that I have and I appreciate you!
