Dear Loneliness...
You have again awaken me from my deep slumber
Crawled into the night like a thief who wanders
And stole the thought of a harmless traveller
Seeking a way out of a life, empty of grandeur
You have slain the happiness, the soul has scarred
Renewed the passion, the mind has barred
And the secrets you whispered
Seems to me, absurd
How you know all memories I burned!
You are mischievous, you are a sly
You know all the tricks, yet you know not to lie
For the truth that I hid, resists to die
And refused to be seen by the naked eye
Loneliness, I know you will not leave
You are part of my soul, you lie here beneath
And you shall not release me, until you are free
For the one who holds you, is no other than thee
It is my heart, I know from within...
