Dear Little Bird

Dear bird you sing with such good cheer
Though danger’s always lurking near.
Marauding cat, a hawk, a storm
Could bring your little ones to harm.

You know that God will mark your fall.
He is presiding over all.
You’ve turned your worries over to
The one who has created you.

I pray that I can have such trust,
Remember God is always just
And like you, I’ll turn off my fear,
Sing praise to God for staying near.

This is truly a blessing to read, the poem is brief but carries a lot of inspiration.

Joyce, what a coincidence, I keep seeing bird poems here tonight. I also just wrote of little birdies in my yard. If you care to read it, it's in the "about this poem" section of my recent sonnet. This one is very cute.
