Dear L,
It’s nice to hear from you,
I like knowing what’s going on in your life,
Even if we don’t really talk about a lot.
I like hearing about how you and your partner are doing,
I like hearing that you’re happy.
It’s nice to know you’ve found your person,
I used to wish I could go back and change things,
But I don’t think that anymore.
I’m happy for you, I truly am.
I know we’ll lose contact someday,
but I’ll still think about you from time to time,
Because I consider you one of my best friends
and I am very happy I met you.
