Dear Jane

coming back to
        the sunset
                              after leaving
                                    the wilderness
            of nostalgia
                                                she wasn't afraid
                      to leave-- for once
    now Dear Jane,
                    please:
spark a flame!
              spark a flame!
      into the road
                                      where you felt
                  lost.

Another cool piece. This has a song like feel to it. I read it several times and each time the flowing cadence of your words played a melodic tune in my head. Which I will say, based on the abstract form of the poem, I would not have expected.

Wow, thank you very much. I'm a huge music lover and a former musician so music has had a strong influence in my poetry.
