Dear Heart

              Oh, my dear heart,
    within your beating rhythm my serenity dwells;
      I mend you from falling apart,
        as old memories my soul retells.
  Because of you blood flows and I am healthy and thrive,
     remember when once we almost did not survive;
  we fought with courage and strength to be alive,
              I love you dear heart !

Dear BJ, thank you for the compliment and comment, as you know Dear Heart was my grandma's pet name for me, I can still hear her, "Dear Heart don't touch that!" I was always touching things in her china cabinet, lol! I wrote under that name until I said enough, I need to write under my own name... blessings ~Constance
