Dear Grandma

I know you never knew of me,
My father wanted me erased from time,
I need to get to you;
Despite any seeds Richard plants in your mind,
I know you are mine,
I trust that you will accept me,
Someday-
As your flesh and blood,
Rocky is the terrain,
I have yet to travel,
I will know one day,
One day.

Beautiful...and sad. I hope you will know her. I'll sing a prayer for you.
