Dear God.
2 Corinthians 6:14

scripture
that is mean
God
I wonder if you really believe
these ugly words that i have seen
I love
you
Lord,
but the hypocrisy of it all
is frustrating.
You
have given me the joy of him
but with this you are punishing me
one step forward to you
and
ten steps back
almost threatening
that
i have to watch my back
Our relationship
is a rocky road
and
all I want is flat
i feel the love in you
deep within my heart
but
when
you call unbelievers
unclean
it really breaks my heart
Dear
god
I want
to be with you
but
We may never totally agree
that
lawlessness shouldn't be abondened so easily
I worry
sometimes
that
your love
can sometimes be cruel
I know its not in my heart
but the bible makes it seem true
Dear god,
I will always
believe
but
we really need to talk
that
i wont rest so easily
that
people
should be kept in the dark
