Dear God

I kneel before you
A shattered person
My body brutally savaged by my own hand
My heart and mind ridden with violent misery
And my soul rapidly perishing under this malicious reign of torment

I kneel before you
A defeated person
Ceaselessly asphyxiated
By an imperceptible coffin
Formed by the crippling pain
Shrouding my mortal remains

At Your mercy
I collapse before you
My life an agonizing blur of torture
I surrender to You-my soul crying out for eternal, peaceful decay
My final plea to You for deathly freedom
For God,
I am not worth the wasted breath You sustain me with

You will never change the past but the future can be yours if you want it bad enough. In the past 20 years, I've seen tremendous success stories but sadly too many give up too soon.
