Dear God

Dear God I feel depressed Each day I wake up is filled with stress Grant me divine strength to press Onto the upward range New heights, I want to gain I know my soul is stained My deeds caused this pain Hear my cry Accept my plea Keep my cheeks dry And let me flee From the path that makes me sin Be my shepherd, for I am your sheep Feed me your word to keep me in shape Guide my steps wherever I lay my feet The back and forth movement through the thorns May cause erosion to the spirit in me On each account, cleanse and stitch my wounds To keep my faith alive.
