Dear Friend, Love Jesus

Dear Friend,

I’d rather come to you and put on flesh
In a most humble way,
I’d rather be raised among you brethren
And walk in the cool of the day,
I’d rather become a curse on the cross
And remit your sin and shame,
I’d rather die and go to Hell
To free you from the same,
And I’d rather live and go to Heaven
To prepare you a place above,
I’d rather reveal myself to you
And send you the Promised Love,
And I’d rather come to Earth again
Very soon to take you home,
I’d rather have you always with me
Than to live in Heaven alone.

		         Love, Jesus.
