Dear Friend

Breaking News : A 20 year old student took his life

To my friend,
Lost in the abyss,
That is life,
I know it's hard,
It's hard ; the world,
The sky, that continuously falls,
The feeling of falling down,
I understand why it happens,
Whatsoever happened,
The bridges that collapsed,
Every time you took a breath,
That you fall weak to your knees,
Every time you tried,
Pulling yourself together.

Dear friend,
I know it's difficult,
The unfathomable pain,
That you are concealing,
The deep dark cave,
That sucks you in,
Everytime you try to sleep,
The sun, the moon, the stars,
Seems bigger, ready to ruse you,
To Deceive you, in their ploy,
The ships of trust that you have,
Sinking ; and you,
Floating in the sea,
When all you want to ever do,
Is perish.

Dear friend,
I know how much you want,
To end it all, for once,
To not feel the affliction ,
That doesn't let you dream,
To let go of the feeling,
Of despair, every time you,
See little kids playing,
To keep your head high,
And do what you are born to do,
To go on, and not let,
The sun, the moon, the stars,
Triumph.

Dear friend,
I know it was hard,
And you must have,
Instantly regretted,
Your decision,
You must have cursed,
The sun, the moon, the stars,
To put you where you were,
To force you into,
Something, you never were,
Or never wanted to be,
I know, that you must have,
Had visions,
Of greater tomorrow,
The universe,
That you hold,
Inside of you,
Finally captivating,
The lopsided truth,
Of your reality,
That you conquered it all,
All that you ever dreamed.
Sigh! Dear friend,
You were all that,
And contented,
But now you are,
In content,
But ashes.
