Dear Friend
I lost myself
Trying to be a better friend for you,
but you've shown yet again
how effortless my efforts were.
I opened my heart,and made it warm
For you
But you closed it with a fury so unexpected
That you left my heart flooded
Like the Nile river,full of nothing but
tears, sorrows and disappointment.
Is it because I'm not in your league I ask?
Is it because we have different visions I ask
Yet mute I become as I remember how
Effortless I seem to you,
regardless of the hard work put
To be visible in your imaginary world.
