Dear Friend

Dear friend of longstanding honor Come, sit beside me here My tale of woe is a yawner, But, one fitting your ear. My sin uneventful. She was most resentful, Not so consentual. You have stayed with me to the bitter end So sorry I cheated on her, dear friend.

But, one fitting your ear - is so perfectly poetic all on its own Milton! Your poem illustrates the great value of friendship!

Purely out of my "creative" imagination, Caren.

I feel as if you've let me in on the most intimate of conversations. This is a stunner, Milt. Right into my FAVES. Thanks, Gershon

The fact that it is fiction makes it an even better poem, actually -- revealing the poet's deep insights into human emotions. Bravo! ~ Gershon

Hey, thanks so much, Gershon. It is pure fiction, however.

Milton, you've crafted a fantastic poem. Such a brilliant and artistic presentation to a friend that you paint in words. Your faultless wording and excellent rhyming add to the enchantment of your verse.
