Dear Daughter
I remember your moment of birth, holding you safe full of love...
A blessed part of my life, this precious female dove...
We have grown together...
Through strong storms and sunny weather...
Discovering ourselves again and again and again...
Your smile is sure to make me grin...
Being your dad each day brings charm...
Which increases my heart feeling warm...
Both your father and your mother...
I am growing daughter...
As you assist me in finding this balanced man...
My growth creates what is best for our lifes plan...
Its a fresh day filled with new thought toys...
I am even relaxed with you showing interest in boys...
I remember this natural draw,
Revealing to the world the expression of my shawl...
Your life has still just begun,
Oh you shall have so much more fun...
As you shine your ray of light like the sun...
I am so proud of you,
For all that you do...
I love you more than you know, which strengthens as I release my strife...
Each day I thank god for having you in my life...
