Dear Adam :I Will Submit
And He put you to sleep,
Cut you open,
Took one of your ribs,
And came up with me.
Thus, I am from you,
Part of you,
A derived being,
And so to you I shall
submit.
Bone of your bones and,
Flesh of your flesh,
You had to be for me to
become,
You breathed first before
I woke
up,
And so rightfully you are
the
pioneer of me,
The ultimate, the alpha.
Dear Adam,
To you I will submit,
Your authority I will
respect,
And even though I
struggle for
equality,
At times even dare put
you under
me,
At the back of my mind I
know I
am wrong,
So I apologise, and am
going
back to where I belong.
He made me your helper
and not
competitor,
He made me from you
and not
from Him though He had
the
capability,
So automatically, you have
priority.
You are the head,
I am your neck,
I support you as you
function,
Help you turn this way
and that
To get a better view of
things and
at times bend to help you
relax.
I will offer my opinions
and
suggestions,
But let you make alu the
decisions,
I will every night whisper
your
name in my prayer,
Asking God to give you His
wisdom and strength,
To lead us everyday,
And I will forever follow
after you,
After all I am the shadow
of you.
I will submit,
I will obey,
I will humble myself to
you,
Therefore letting God's
blessings
smoothly flow through.
