Dear,
I try to write
the words that say
what you mean to me
but all fall short
No,
none come close
to saying what I mean
You are my hope
You are my love
and every night
I thank God above
for sending you to me
You bring out things
inside of me
that I thought I could never feel
You are my warmth
You are my smile
You are my sanity
My days are spent
dreaming of you
I dream of you
of your embrace
of your pretty face
smiling just for me
My weeks are lived
to hold your hand
and share precious moments
with you
I carry on
for the love you give
and your kissed goodbyes
You are my light
You are my strength
You are what enlivens me
You bring me up
when I am down
You make my heart skip beats
I think of you
when I am sad
and it helps me be
You are my love
You are my hope
You’re the one
