Dealing With Darkness

Dealing with darkness.
Playing a dangerous game
Little girl
The stakes are high
Careful
dont fall
 on sharp ends
The velvet will spill
From your neck

Dealing with darkness
A dangerous game
So much to lose
So little to gain
Fight
Fight
The darkness inside
Like floods
Like deadly waters
They come so quick
Enveloping her
A dark mantel
Suddenly draped

For darkness from within
Is much darker
Than that which comes
When candles aren't lit
When sin
in absence of light
Thou commits

Day dream
nightmares
Come alive
When darkness
is set on fire
Burning black flames
Burning true gains

Walked straight into
Our black-trap
Little girl
To proud to admit
This dance with darkness
This poker game of fate
Will end
In darkness
With her head
On a stake
