Deaf Ears

You tell me anything I want
But when I tell you
It falls on deaf ears.
Go wherever you want.
When I do
You didn't hear me leave.
When I ask how are you doing
You didn't hear me ask.
If I finally get upset
YOU HEAR ME!
You don't understand 
my need to be heard,
Because after all
I don't listen to you.
I guess I am the one
with DEAF EARS.
