Deadly Opposites
My grandpa died at 76
My uncle at 67
My grandma passed at 83
At 38 Aunty went to heaven
My poor mom died at 66
The same year as her twin sis
What evil with the bag of tricks
Could be the cause of this?
When dad nearly died at 71
My fate was foreseen
But he revived, that son of a gun
And to think I was 17
Yet at 72 he had a heart attack
Though was fit at 73
We were all psyched for his comeback
Plus it was doubly best for me
He had no problems at 74
And 75 was a breeze
Still I selfishly hoped for more
But there were no guarantees
Yet by god he made it to 79
Though was on the brink of death
But since the reverse was my deadline
I was able to catch my breath
Nonetheless he died at 82
Which for him was truly great
But that assured my future was through
Coz I just turned 28
