Dead In Denver

Expiring yesterday
I'm dead and running late
laid over in Denver
heaven will have to wait

I packed for eternity
now through a cloud I'm notified
all my baggage has been lost
so much for the golden chariot ride

looks like somethings never change
in death just as in life
I'm laid over in Denver
waiting for the next heavenly flight
