Dead End Road

You said - So glad you enjoyed it my poetic friend, Thanks alot for Your great comment. What did you think? 3 Dead End Road Been walking this road, with two dead ends Your memory keeps returning, again and again The moon doesn't glow and the stars don't shine And as I search for your face, I keep falling behind I looked at my watch, seems it stopped yesterday So I take a deep breath, and continue on my way I stare at the darkness, and see nothing but black As I listen for sounds, A chill crawls up my back I've worn a hole in my shoe, a week ago today My eyes are so tired, but there's no where to lay It's so dark and lonely, as I try to keep pace For this dead end road, has taken your place My mind starts to worry, if you'll ever return As the dark turns to gray, your arms I still yearn I realize were through, as I rest for awhile For I no longer can search, or walk one more mile I've worn a hole in my shoe, a week ago today My eyes are so tired, but there's no where to lay It's so dark and lonely, as I try to keep pace For this dead end road, has taken your place
