-dead-

One Word #15
Word: Dead
Dead, Adjective, No longer alive; Having lost sensation; Having or displaying no emotions.

Run, avoid,
I have to go.
The city is dead,
Yet they remain.
Eyes are cold,
Like the corpses.
Too many;
Am I insane?

Metal rains down,
Drums explode,
Yet I remain,
Hoping for life.
I remember them,
But they are gone.
I am the last,
The last to wander.

He has found me,
But doesn’t shoot.
Thank you for the mercy,
Though you didn’t give it to others.
All you wanted was music,
So I amused you.
Like the dead,
My melody is broken in F minor.
