Dazed and Confused

With every little bit of strength she pleads
Curled in a corner down on her knees
Dazed and confused
Beaten and abused
Like a helpless bird that has lost her song
Sits a body that the soul has gone
With every hit tares her apart inside
All dreams lost all hope dies
Once so happy a husband and a wife
Now married to a monster pleading for her life
Her body shakes and her eyes weep
She tries to find self worth she can keep
So tired she lays her body down
She cries her self to sleep in her blood soiled gown
Awakening to the morning hour
To the birds song and the smell of the garden flower
Climbing out of bed she kneels on the floor
Please god help me i can take no more
